The Setting

We’ll gather in a one-of-a-kind desert property in Pioneertown—a space that feels less like a home and more like a world unto itself.

Set on expansive land under open sky, the property includes multiple structures—each with its own texture, its own energy, its own invitation inward.

There is a saloon.
A chapel.
Spaces to gather, and spaces to disappear into yourself.

It has been featured on Netflix’s World’s Most Amazing Vacation Rentals, and there is a reason.

There is something about this place—something raw, cinematic, and quietly alive—that supports the kind of work we will be doing together.

This isn’t simply a place to stay.
It’s a place to feel.

The Schedule

The vision is to create a spacious schedule with plenty of unstructured time to relax and process. Start the morning with meditation, breath work, and an opening circle, followed by long days of freedom to enjoy the property and all it offers, or explore the surrounding area. The property is a 5 minute drive to Joshua Tree National Park. Each evening we will reconvene to gather in curriculum, conversation and ceremony.

The Food

The kitchen will be well-stocked with an assortment of provisions: bread, cereal, fruit, vegetables, eggs, cheese, nuts, nut butter, jam, yogurt, snacks, teas, and bubbly water. You are welcome and advised to bring in additional foods to your liking, particularly for dinners. There is plenty of shopping in close proximity.

Included in your tuition is one pizza dinner from Sky High Pie.  

The Details

Room and Board (as described above) are included. You will be responsible for 3/4 dinners. One of those nights we will take an optional field trip to the local legendary road house, Pappy & Harriets in Pioneertown which has a full bar and excellent menu. Food and beverage at P&H is not covered in the cost of the retreat. 

Alcohol and other intoxicants are not included. 

Travel to and from the retreat is not included. Palm Springs Airport is an easy 37 mile drive from Joshua Tree. A rental car will give you freedom to adventure off-site at will. Alternatively, MBTA (Morongo Basin Transit Authority) bus 12 will take you from the Palm Springs Airport to Joshua Tree for a $9-15 roundtrip. Another option is to fly into LAX and drive about three hours from there. 

Note: It's not possible to come for a partial retreat. You're either all in or all out. If you need to arrive late or depart early, we cannot prorate your fee.
